Keep your pet safe and your door open with this highly effective Double Sliding Fly Screen

This kit will make a high quality Double Sliding Pet Screen. Fitted with claw and scratch resistant pet mesh available in grey or black. Our pet mesh is designed to let fresh air in whilst keeping your pets safe and comes with the added benefit of keeping insects out.

The sliding panels glide smoothly along the twin track, one behind the other, to allow entry and exit through your door. Pile to the back of the front screen provides a complete all round seal. Clips at the top of the panel allow it to be removed for cleaning or storage in the cooler months. For more adventurous pets we would recommend using the simple locking pin option to stop the screen from being pushed open.

You can choose a White or Anthracite Grey frame and we also offer a colour coating service if you need to match a specific paint colour.

This screen represents a wise investment if you’re looking for a good long-term solution rather than a cheap short-term fix. The frames will last for many years and the mesh can be replaced if needed.

The kit is supplied with all necessary screen materials, fixings, a spline tool for fitting the mesh and a set of instructions. Most importantly - we are the end of the phone if you need some help.

Please note: To make this screen you will need to mitre-cut the aluminium frames using a mitre box and good hacksaw or preferably a mitre saw. Making also requires measuring, drilling, and screwing so we would not recommend this kit for DIY beginners. If DIY is not for you, we have a made to measure option which can be selected below.

How does this screen work?

The twin tracks are fitted inside the reveal to the underside of the top sill, floor and side walls. One screen panel sits to the front of the track, the other to the back and they roll/slide one behind the other when you wish to pass through the door.

When the two screens are in the closed position, the frames overlap in the middle and a pile seal to the rear of the front screen creates a sealed system.  

If you choose the added security of the locking pin, the sliding panels are very simply held in the closed position so that your pet cannot slide them open.
