In fact, when fitted with our closing channel, this blind will give you 100% blackout. No light will penetrate the material and the side guides and closing channel ensure a light tight finish. It’s an ideal solution for bedrooms and especially useful for baby's room to help with that daytime nap!

Add a pair of intermediate clips and you can open the blind at a pre-determined position to start the waking process with light and fresh air.

Perfect for windows, roof lights and Velux windows and ideal for any room in the home, especially bedrooms. Simply pull down to cover your window then release and retract to store away until next time. This blind has been tried and tested in homes across the UK for more than 10 years.

The screen can be fitted into the window recess (between the side walls, top sill and bottom sill) or straight onto the window frame and you can choose a White, Anthracite Grey or Brown frame to suit your requirements. We also offer a colour coating service if you need to match a specific paint colour.

Once ordered your screen will be made to your measurements and supplied ready to fit. There is no cutting required – we do everything here at our factory. We send all fixings and a set of instructions. Most importantly - we are the end of the phone if you need some help.

How does the blind work?

In short, a bit like a roller blind but with a cassette and side guides.

The blackout material is rolled on a tube inside an aluminium cassette which is fitted to the window in a similar way as a roller blind i.e. between the side walls or straight onto the window frame. Once fitted, side guides are located and fitted to the underside of the cassette then to the side walls or the window frame.

To use, you simply pull the handlebar down over the window until it locks in place When you've finished, you ease the handlebar backwards to release the blind and return it to the head cassette.
