Most people start looking at window fly screens after one bad summer night, a bedroom full of mosquitoes in June, a kitchen swarming with flies every time the window opens, or midges from April onwards. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
We've been manufacturing and supplying window fly screens since 2007, and in that time we've screened just about every window type you'll find in a UK home. Victorian sash windows, modern tilt and turn, side-hung casements, Velux roof lights, and everything in between. The screens we supply use powder-coated aluminium frames and high-visibility insect mesh that lets light and air through while keeping insects out.
Our range is available as a DIY kit with clear instructions or made to measure from your exact dimensions, or professionally installed by our fitting team. If you're not sure which type suits your windows, keep reading — or call us on 01628 481919 and we'll talk you through it.

Window Fly Screens are incredibly effective at keeping insects out of your home and they are more user friendly (as well as insect and environmentally friendly) than fly paper and fly sprays. Screening can be tricky to start with - windows come in all shapes and sizes and there are many types of fly screen - but the investment will be worth it once your screens are doing their job.
The products and information here will help you understand the options and if you need further information or advice, we have a friendly and extremely knowledgeable customer services team who are ready to help you.
Here are a few of the most frequently asked FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS to get the ball rolling.
Modern window fly screens are available in several styles to suit different window types, ventilation needs and installation preferences. Whether you need a discreet everyday insect screen or a removable system for seasonal use, we offer solutions suitable for both modern and traditional UK homes.
Framed window fly screen - as the name suggests, this screen is made in the shape of a rectangular or square aluminium frame (a bit like a picture frame) and fitted with a mesh. This sort of screen is generally placed onto the window frame to cover the open space when the window is open. Fixing options include magnetic, hinge or turn button.
Roller window fly screen - this screen operates in a similar way to a roller blind, but with side channels. A cassette with mesh is fitted to the top of a window frame and the side channels run vertically from the cassette to the window sill to guide the mesh as it is pulled downwards from the cassette. The screen is rolled down when the window is open and back to the cassette when the window is closed. The screen can be chain or non-chain operated.
Twin sliding window fly screen - this screen is similar to the secondary glazing concept. An outer frame/track is fitted into the window reveal and two framed insect mesh screens fit into the frame. Each screen covers half the width of the window with an overlap in the middle to create a seal. Both screens slide aside to allow access to the window.
Pleated window fly screen - as the name suggests, the pleated screen uses a mesh with a series of pleats rather than a flat mesh. The system consists of a top face fitted or reveal fitted channel which holds the mesh and side channels run vertically from the top channel to the window sill to guide the mesh as it is pulled downwards. The screen is pulled down when the window is open and back to the top when the window is closed.
